Dr. Gregory A. Toback DMD MS
Gregory Toback, DMD, MS received his Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University (cum laude) in 1991, and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut in 1995 (Award for Excellence in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry). Following completion of his dental degree, Dr. Toback pursued advanced training in periodontics and dental implants at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 1998, Dr. Toback returned to Connecticut to begin private practice with Shoreline Periodontics.
Dr. Toback is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also a clinical professor at UCONN School of Dental Medicine and has authored papers in major periodontal and dental implant journals. He lectures extensively on a variety of clinical topics including dental implants, bone and soft tissue regeneration, laser periodontal therapy and implant complications.
Dr. Toback is a clinical investigator of the prestigious McGuire Institute which focuses on delivering highly relevant clinical research that supports new and improved technologies that benefit patients.
In addition, he holds a certificate and license to provide services in conscious sedation. Treating patients with anxiety and apprehension holds special interest for him. He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Society, Connecticut Society of Periodontics, and New London County Dental Society.
Dr. Marianne M. Urbanski DMD MScD
Dr. Urbanski graduated cum laude from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and a Masters of Dental Science degree from the University of Connecticut Dental School.
Dr. Urbanski has served as a clinical periodontology instructor at the University of Connecticut’s School of Dentistry and the Yale General Practice Residency Program. She has received numerous awards in Dental Student Research Society Award, Commencement Awards from the Department of Oral Biology, the American Academy of Oral Pathology, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also the author of “Mind and Medicine: In Harmony for Healing”.
