Dr. Samuel Low DMD MS

As an associate faculty member of the L.D. Pankey Institute for 20 years and Professor Emeritus, University of Florida, College of Dentistry, Dr. Low’s many years’ experience training dental professionals is evident in his straightforward, informative, and entertaining teaching style.

His realistic, balanced approach to periodontal success coupled with his solid systems and protocols empowers the dental professional to improve case acceptance, boost team effectiveness and increase productivity!

Dr. Shelburne DMD MS

Some dentists may fear litigation but few worry about going to prison. Dr. Shelburne became aware that he was a target of an investigation when on October 24, 2003 the FBI broke down the back door of his office and confiscated all his business and dental records.

During the investigation, trial, and subsequent imprisonment, Dr. Shelburne learned that his records, billing, and coding systems were faulty and ignorance was no excuse. Come hear the compelling story that will help illuminate the hidden details of documentation that every dental professional must understand.

Nurit Bittner DDS

This lecture will concentrate on restorative treatment guidelines for the achievement of esthetics in implant dentistry. We will highlight how to improve functional behavior, simplify treatment, and generate superior esthetic results in the anterior through recent technological and clinical advances that are transforming the practice of implant dentistry.

The inability of certain historical implant connections to provide a harmonious biologic response will require deviations from the ideal treatment plan to improve the final restorative result. In addition, evidence-based outcomes reported in literature, and on-going collaboration between Columbia and Harvard evaluating “Pink” will be discussed.
